First of all I would like to thank you for the excellent JavaSoft FORUM
      pages.

Several Research Groups in Europe and the United States, including mine,
are thinking about the possibility of using JAVA to include some educational
      programs into their web pages.

The fact is that is difficult to program scientific stuff without the
help of a "complex" basic data type. It should not be difficult to
include one into the language and it would enhance the possibilities
of the language for educational purposes, or even for scientific research.

I would like to know what the opinion of the Forum is about this point.

      Thank you for your comments,
