jdk 1.0.2, Unable to monitor the progress of a audio clip

java.applet.AudioClip does not provide a capability to monitor the progress of the audio clip while it is playing. Consequently, for large audio files, there is no way of knowing when a sound clip has finished playing, thus making it difficult to plan for more audio clips to be played.
