All of the following problems can be seen when running the SwingSet2
demo program with fvwm2 or fvwm95 window manager on a Solaris
workstation. I have been using JDK1.3 for a year now. I have never
seen these problems in JDK1.3, however after I run the SwingSet2 demo
using JDK1.4, then run SwingSet2 demo using JDK1.3, I see some of the
same problems. Restarting the window manager did not help. But if I
logout and then back in JDK1.3 SwingSet2 does not have any of these
problems. I only see the problem when using fvwm2 or fvwm95 window manager.
JDK1.4 looks OK when using CDE or KDE
