      Description

      JDK-Build :- Merlin Beta2
      Operating System :- Windows 2000

      Steps to reproduce problem :-

1.Make sure the default drive (C:\ or D:\ ) is almost full or have < 75 MB of free space on the drive where jdk is being installed
2.. Install JDK from Windows based JDK installer by double clicking on self extracting executable
3.It will pop up an error message dialog -
There is not enough free space on <drive:\>
       (drive can be C: D: etc )
Please free 38.17MB on your system and try again (See Attached Snapshot )

User will be the given for Retry and Cancel but no option for resuming the installation by specifying a user preferred drive
for instance , if C:\ has run out of space but D:\ and E:\ has free space , instead of restarting the installation after cleaning up C:\ , installer should give an option "want to install in other location Yes/NO ?"

-This seems to be a bug of InstallShield6.3a and is common across other products deployed with this Installer but there are installer which can avoid this problem

There is one at the link given below which gives the option of specifying another disk drive on finding there is no space on default drive
      http://netnet.net/~freeman/fi30w4.html

      - I created one dummy installer to demonstrate the functionality
make free disk space less than 20KB ( app requires 20KB)
The installer on finding disk space is less than what is required for the application will give an option of installing it in non-default drive
      Installer can be downloaded from
      http://javasoft4.india.sun.com/Java_Install/setup.exe

it would give more flexibility to user if JDK Installer can have the same functionality
