Java font config files don't support TTC files.

    Details

      Description

There's no way to indicate in a Java fontconfig (previously font.properties
file) that a component of a Java logical/composite font is a particular
      index inside a TrueType collection.
The two syntaxes we have are 1) XLFD, 2) filename.
Its perhaps possible but extremely klunky to figure it out from an XLFD.
This is not currently an issue as Solaris does not ship with TTC files,
its probable this won't happen until at least some Solaris 10 version.
On windows this has never been a problem as rather than XLFD, the windows
font config files use the face name of the font, which directly and
uniquely identifies it in the TTC file.

This RFE requests that there be a mechanism added to support this.
