      There does not appear to be any code in the SUNWj5rt patch_postinstall
      script to restore the latest symlink.

      Since Joe moved the removal-related stuff to a preremove script in the
      original package, I suggest that you get rid of the customized
      patch_postinstall for SUNWj5rt (if you don't supply any
      patch_postinstall, buildpatch will use its template verbatim), and copy
      the SUNWj5rt preremove script to "patch_preinstall." I've never used a
      patch_preinstall myself, but I took a look at the patchadd code and it
      looks like it should do what you want, with no merging hassles to boot
      since there is no template for that file.
