      Description

The look up window of Java input method (such as City input method) does not behave correctly on Solaris with XAWT turned on only. It works find on Linux with XAWT and Solaris motif mode.

      Steps to reproduce the bug.
      1. Download Input Method Hot Key| tool. this tool is for the platforms
that do not have the /Select Input Method/ menu item in the system menu
      (e.g. Linux)

You can get this tool from:
      http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/tsc/articles/InputMethod/InputMethodHotKey.jar

      2. use this tool to define a hot key combination. such as Ctrl+Shift+1.

      java -jar InputMethodHotKey.jar

      3. Download CityIM.jar from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/imf/spi-tutorial.html (section 8, the second link is the jar file) and put it into jdk/jre/lib/ext directory.

      4. Use the key combination you choosed in step 2 to choose the input method.

      5. Launch Notepad demo and type "sfo", then type space to invoke the lookup window (used to select from a candidate list). You will notice that the look up window can not be kept.
