      Description

There are many ways to get Java (j2se) onto a system. The supported system installations
(Solaris packages, Linux RPMs, Windows InstallShield) may perform system configuration
steps - typically registering with the available browsers and windowing systems. Other
installation methods (tar balls, self-extracting archives) are intended for installation
by non-priveleged users and should not perform these operations, even if the user has
appropriate privelages. Toggling behaivor based on uid is not a good model.

The script sfx2sh attempts such operations. It should cease and desist.
