    • OS:
      windows_xp

      Description

      This is something similar to 6534313, but displays an incorrect item after the dialog is visible. This works fine in jdk6.0 but fails from jdk7.0 b02 onwards. Hence this is a regression. This is seen only in window xp.
      The attached program is a automatic. It can be worked manually also.

      First run the code it will be automatic, then later the program can be tried manually also to reproduce the bug.

      Step to reproduce;
      ------------------
      1) Run the attached program.
      2) Observe that when the frame is visible, you can see the first item in the frame. You can see the screen shot in file which gets created in the same folder.
      3) Once the dialog is visible . Observe the first item of the choice is erased. After some time the dialog gets disposed. but the first item in the choice is selected(blank).
      4) Click on the choice to view the contents of the choice. You can see all the items( but not the blank one).
      5) Select any item from the choice using mouse.
      6) Click on the textfield.
      7) Click on the arrow button of the chocie. Dialog is visible , close the dialog.
      8) Select any item from the choice using keyboard. Observe that the item selected by keyboard is not seen. Instead you will see the item selected using mouse. If you see the same then the bug is reproduced.
      9) Click "getSelectedValue" button. Observe that item that you see on the choice is not equal to the value that actually you selected.
