      Description

with kernel jre bundle, java quick starter service is not listed in windows services

      Tested OS : windows
      Tested bundle :6U4 PIT2 (http://j2se.east/plugin/1.6.0_04-nightly/2007-08-06.13_45)

      steps to reproduce :

      1. install jre.exe (not kernel bundle)
      2. remove deployment.properties file
      3. launch java control panel
java quick starter is checked by default. Also the service is started in control panel/ services
      4. Close java control panel

      5. uninstall jre and install kernel jre (-k bundle)
      6. remove deployment.properties file
      7. launch java control panel
it can be noticed that java quick starter is unchecked by default
      8. check the check box and close java control panel
check whether the JQS service is listed in windows services. It is not listed.
      9. Relaunch java control panel
The change is not saved. ie, The check box is still unchecked.
Registering the service through control panel is not working.

Note : In kernel jre, it works fine if it is registered through command line .
