      Description

      JRE6 Java Control Panel -> General tab has three subpanels.
      The documentation for the "Temporary Internet Files Subpanel"
      is available in

      http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/deployment/deployment-guide/jcp.html#general

      It tells:
      ---------------------------------------------------------
      Temporary Internet Files Subpanel

      You can do the following:

       * Press the Delete Files... button to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog from which you can delete:
          o Downloaded Applets;
          o Downloaded Applications;
          o Other Files.
       * Press the Settings... button to get the Temporary Files Settings dialog from which you can:
          + Press the Delete Files... button (same as above) to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog, from which you can delete:
             # Downloaded Applets,
             # Downloaded Applications,
             # Other Files;
          + press the View Applications... button to get the Java JNLP Applications Viewer dialog, from which you can:
             # view and remove applications, applets, libraries, and installers,
             # launch online and offline applications, applets, and installers;
          + press the View Applets... button to view the Details - Cache dialog, from which you can view cached applet files, enable/disable caching in Java Plug-in, Delete cached files, and Refresh the viewer;
          + from the Settings subpanel, set the location, the amount of disk space, and the compression for .jar files.
      ---------------------------------------------------------

      1. The two first level options
      ------------------------------
      The two first level options are incorrect.

        * Press the Delete Files... button to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog from which you can delete:
       [ ... ]
        * Press the Settings... button to get the Temporary Files Settings dialog from which you can:

       The buttons are named "Settings ..." and "View..."

      1.1 "Delete Files..." button
      ----------------------------
       Going further down the hierarchy.
       Apart from the incorrect name of this button (should be "View..." button), the
       documentation about the functionality provided in the GUI is inappropriate, as
       it is about the JRE 1.5. level of software. The functionality of the "Java
       Cache Viewer" is not explained.

       Here is what is given in the docs:

       * Press the Delete Files... button to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog from which you can delete:
         o Downloaded Applets;
         o Downloaded Applications;
         o Other Files.

      1.2 "Settings..." button
      ------------------------
       The doc says, that there are the following options:

        + Press the Delete Files... button (same as above) to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog, [ ... ]
        + press the View Applications... button [ ... ]
        + press the View Applets... button to view the Details [ ... ]
        + from the Settings subpanel, set the location, the amount of disk space, and the compression for .jar files.

       "Delete Files..." button is there.
       "View Applications..." button is missing.
       "View Applets..." button is missing.
       "Settings subpanel" is very short and confusing:
        We are already on the "Settings subpanel", so there is no other "Settings subpanel".
        The doc regarding:
         - "keep temporary files on my computer" is missing
         - "Location" and "Disk Space" is too short. No further explanation is given.
         - No further documentation about the compression for .jar files is given.

       So, the docs again talk about JRE 1.5 level of functionality.

      1.2.1 "Delete Files..." button
      ------------------------------
       The doc says:

      + Press the Delete Files... button (same as above) to get the Delete Temporary Files dialog, from which you can delete:
                            # Downloaded Applets,
                            # Downloaded Applications,
                            # Other Files;

       This is incorrect. There is a special dialog "Delete Temporary Files" and one can
       choose between deleting
           # Applications and Applets
           # Trace and Log Files

      1.2.2 "Restore Defaults..." button
      ----------------------------------
       Doc is entirely missing.
