Inconsistent exception classes in JAXP

    Details

      Description

Since JAXP is composed of several different components, exception classes were designed quite differently. For example, several exception classes, such as DOMException, LSException, XPathExcepiton swallow cause in the same way as indicated in 6710741. We should consider unifying the way exceptions are designed across the JAXP API in future release.
