      Description

A bit of feedback on javac from day 1 of the language summit yesterday, it was noted that javac's aggressive resue of temporaries to store values of different types could have adverse consequences for some JVM implementations. It was claimed the temporaries could impede construction of some JVM internal representations and slow down GC be having to figure out what the pointed-to value was.
