      OS: OSX

      Browser: Safari

      User agent strings: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_2) AppleWebKit/537.75.14 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.0.3 Safari/537.75.14

      A user reported the following: "The latest version of Java for Macintosh will NOT let me disable automatic updates. Every time I turn it off and click ok, close the java window.. The open it back up and it has the Automatic Update Java Checked! I cannot have this update automatically! I prefer to update it when I want to! PLEASE HELP!"

      Reproduced by the support team with Java 7u55.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1 - Uncheck the updates
      2 - Click Apply....
      3 - Enter password....
      4 - Click OK...
      5 - Reopen control panel....
      6 - Check box still checked.
