      Description

Closing a SocketChannel that is registered with one or more Selectors will delay closing the underlying connection/file descriptor until the SocketChannel has been flushed from all Selectors. This can be confusing in environments where there aren't any selection operations going on or a selection operation never wakes to process its cancelled key set.

An `@implNote` may be useful in the Selector or SelectableChannel javadoc to make developers aware of this.
