      Description

HTML 5 introduces many new character entities (named character references):

      https://www.w3.org/TR/html52/syntax.html#named-character-references

We intend to add support for most of these entities in JDK-8222318. However, some of the entities have special properties that cannot be supported without changes in the current internal API:

       - Entities without a trailing semicolon
       - Entities with two code points

Our plan is to add support for "ordinary" HTML 5 entities in JDK-8222318, and to refactor the code to support these "special" entities in a second step with this issue.
