    XMLWordPrintable

    Details

    • Type: Sub-task
    • Status: Closed
    • Priority: P4
    • Resolution: Delivered
    • Affects Version/s: 15
    • Fix Version/s: 15
    • Component/s: core-libs

      Description

`InflaterOutputStream(OutputStream out, Inflater infl, int bufLen)` allows for specifying the decompressor and buffer size to be used.

`InflaterOutputStream.write(byte[] b, int off, int len)` was writing data using a max buffer size of 512 bytes.

Starting with JDK 15 the buffer size specified via `InflaterOutputStream(OutputStream out, Inflater infl, int bufLen)` will be used in calls to `InflaterOutputStream.write(byte[] b, int off, int len)`. If the buffer size is not specified when invoking the `InflaterOutputStream `constructor, it will default to 512 bytes.
