Table filter does not affect child components

    Details

      Description

Table filter does not affect child components on the JFR pages, not the properties or stacktrace views.

The page filter on the ItemHandler pages does affect the child components, but not the stacktrace or properties views.

Since the child components and stacktrace view get populated by the default selection if no specific selection is set, and the filter changes the default selection, I think that the child components and stacktrace and properties view should also be changed.

      Repro:

      • Open JFR
      • Go to Memory page
      • Rightclick the histogram table and select Show filter
      • Change something in the filter that changes the contents of the table
      • Notice that the child components or other view does not change.

      Repro2:

      • Open JFR
      • Rightclick the Outline view, select New Page/Custom Page..
      • Choose some event types
      • Do Group By some attribute
      • Rightclick the histogram table and select Show filter
      • Change something in the filter that changes the contents of the histogram table
      • Notice that the child list or other view does not change.

If this was the intended behavior, this issue can be changed to an enhancement request.
